Pianist, komponist og improvisasjonsartist. Amerikanske Charlie Albright er allerede en stjerne på den internasjonale pianohimmelen og har spilt med artister som fiolinisten Joshua Bell, sanger og dirigent Bobby McFerrin og cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Washington Post har kalt ham en av «de mest begavede musikerne i sin generasjon med en blendende naturlig forståelse for tangentene», og The New York Times har bemerket en «teknikk og virtuositet som gir deg hakeslipp.»

Carmen med kubansk hjerte, koreografert av den ikoniske ballettdanseren Carlos Acosta. Etter en eksepsjonell internasjonal karriere, har Carlos Acosta samlet Cubas fremste dansere i kompaniet Acosta Danza. I Grieghallen fremfører de Acostas egen versjon av Bizets klassiske ballettsuite Carmen: En fusjon av klassisk og moderne dans som speiler den rike, markante kubanske kulturen. Historiens universelle og tidløse temaer blottlegges i en sparsommelig, men kraftfull setting med spektakulær design og belysning. Royal Ballet Sinfonia akkompagnerer, ledet av Paul Murphy. www.fib.no

Carmen with a Cuban heart, choreographed by iconic ballet dancer Carlos Acosta. In the wake of his outstanding international career, Carlos Acosta gathered Cuba's leading dancers and established the dance company Acosta Danza. In Grieghallen they will perform Acosta's own version of Bizet's classical ballet suite Carmen. The performance is a fusion of classical and modern dance, reflecting the rich and distinctive Cuban culture. The story's universal and timeless themes are laid bare in a sparse and powerful setting with spectacular designs and lighting, accompanied by Royal Ballet Sinfonia conducted by Paul Murphy
The discount does not apply to the ticket fee, which must always be paid in full. The ticket fee is calculated from the discounted price.
