Koret Oktavia har gleden av å invitere til konsert før jul i byens nye, vakre storstue - Universitetsaulaen. Konserten er inspirert av dette ærverdige rommet med sin utforming, akustikk og beliggenhet. Det har ført til et program som dveler ved menneskelige relasjoner, hvordan vi møter hverandre og oss selv gjennom stemninger, følelser, refleksjon og undring.
Som musikalsk følge har vi fått med oss tre dyktige musikere som for anledningen danner en jazztrio; Ben Besiakov piano, Sigurd Ulveseth bass og Snorre Bjerk perkusjon. Sammen med korets dirigent, Ruth Otelie Nonseid, vil disse formidle variasjoner over konsertens tema.
Arenaen for konserten inspirerer også våre intellektuelle refleksjoner. Professor Anniken Greve, med doktorgrad både i filosofi og litteratur, vil bidra til dette ved innslag under konserten.
Søndag 4. desember 2016 kl 19:00 i Universitetsaulaen Christies Café er åpen for servering av drikke, snaks og småkaker fra kl 18.00.
Billettpris kr 250,- , (for ansatte ved UiB kr. 200,-). Billetter til ansatte selges ved eget bord ved inngangen.

The Octavia women's choir invites you to a concert posing the question:
DID YOU TELL ME SOMETHING....
The concert will take place in the city of Bergen's new and beautiful parlour - The University Aula on Sunday 4 December 19:00 o'clock.
Inspired by the location we shall dwell on human relations, how we meet each other and ourselves through sentiments, feelings, reflections and wonderings.
The choir will be accompanied by three skilled musicians forming a jazztrio; Ben Besiakov piano, Sigurd Ulveseth bass and Snorre Bjerk percussion. Together with the choir and its conductor, Ruth Otelie Nonseid, they aim to share with you variations on the theme of the concert.
The concert arena inspires also to intellectual reflections. Professor Anniken Greve, with a PhD in both philosophy and literature, will contribute to this as a part of the program.
Sunday 4 December 2016 at 19:00 o'clock in The University Aula Main entrance through the Museum Garden from Olav Rye's street, opposite the Student's Center.
Christie's Café will be serving drinks, snacks and cookies from 18:00 o'clock. Entrance fee NOK 250,- (for employees of the University of Bergen; NOK 200,-). Tickets are sold at the entrance.
