About the Rafto Prize 30th Anniversary Ceremony Join us in this historic event when we gather our Rafto laureates in Bergen to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rafto Prize. The Anniversary Ceremony in Grieghallen will feature honoring of this year's Rafto laureate and all the laureates through 30 years, as well as artistic performances with local and international artists: Fargespill, Frode Grytten Beat Band, Sondre Lerche, Sivan Perwer, Ali Al Badri, Hallgrim Hansegård, Raghild Hemsing, Ingrid Andsnes and Kygo. Hosts: Siri Lill Mannes and Jostein Hole Kobbeltvedt.
Om Raftostiftelsen: Siden 1987 har Raftostiftelsen tildelt Raftoprisen til modige forsvarere av menneskerettigheter. Nettverket av prismottakere består i dag av fremtredende personer fra Asia, Afrika, Amerika og Europa. Raftoprisen har over tid høstet stor anerkjennelse for å bringe ukjente stemmer frem i lyset, og flere av prismottakerne har siden mottatt Nobels Fredspris; Aung San Suu Kyi, Shirin Ebadi, José Ramos-Horta og Kim Dae-jung. I 2016 fyller Raftoprisen 30 år, og jubileumsåret avrundes med Festforestillingen i Grieghallen den 20. november.
