other of the applications such a thing would have is: no more need to waste wondering and tinkering about the "semantic web". Every text would be "webbed" automatically in such corpora anyway and webbed in an exhaustive way to all other segments of text in all other texts. Say you notice a link on a wikipedia page, that link would not lead you to a page with stratified contexts as suggested by the initial context of the linking page, it would be just another wikipedia page. The purpose of URLs and all of that was defeated by run of the mill protagonism. I once read about how much time students in higher education waste while chasing down all the information they need for their research. Computer viruses (as the say in English) also prey on the tyranny of sequencing ...
