The research focus of the position are scalable deep learning NLP solutions for text classification and information extraction tasks on clinical datasets, including e.g., medical question answering and dialogs, biomedical argumentation, or developing more private and transparent machine learning models.
The successful applicant will hold a university degree in computer science and a relevant PhD in Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning, demonstrated by a corresponding publication record. Previous experience with neural network architectures for NLP is expected, ideally including clinical text. Proven strong programming skills, e.g. from previous projects, are required.
