Your main task will be to work on the development of the “Electronic Babylonian Literature” web application <https://github.com/ElectronicBabylonianLiterature/>. The goal of the eBL project is to advance the reconstruction of Mesopotamian literature by providing a platform on which to edit cuneiform texts and identify parallels thereof. The eBL application is an open source software that uses MongoDB and React.js. The platform was developed during the first phase of the eBL project (2018–2022) during the second phase further features will be added, including a front-end implementation of sequence alignment algorithms for cuneiform texts. Requirements

- Master's degree in computer science or comparable qualification

- experience with (some of) React.js, Python, TypeScript, MongoDB,

Docker, Git

- analytical thinking• goal- and result-oriented work

- project management skills• ability to work in a team
