[Corpora-List] second CALL: "Fine-grained Event Classification" Shared Task

Second CALL for the second phase of the "Fine-grained Event Classification" Shared Task co-located with ACL-IJCNLP 2021 workshop on Challenges and Applications of Automated Extraction of Socio-political Events from Text (CASE 2021).

The purpose of this Shared Task is to foster the development of flexible classification systems for socio-political and crisis events. It is composed of 3 subtasks, which differ by the set of labels and the availability of training data: * Subtask 1: the label set is strictly the ACLED taxonomy, the training data is available directly from ACLED (https://acleddata.com/) * Subtask 3: the label set it ACLED taxonomy plus 3 new labels, no training data for the new classes is provided * Subtask 3: the label set it ACLED taxonomy plus 5 new labels, no training data for the new classes can be used, this task is meant for zero-shot classifier only

The test data set is composed of circa 1K of news-like text snippets that have been annotated using a set of 30 labels. URL of the Shared Task with further details: https://github.com/emerging-welfare/case-2021-shared-task/tree/main/task2
