This year, the biannual conference of the International Society for the Linguistics of English (ISLE) is organized and hosted by the University of Eastern Finland School of Humanities.
Registration for ISLE 6 is now open, please see https://sites.uef.fi/isle6/registration/ for more information! The Early Bird fee (valid until 30 April) is 80EUR, and we offer a student fee of 40EUR. ISLE 6 will take place 2–5 June, 2021 as an online conference.
The conference theme for ISLE 6 is Evolving English and the Digital Era. Alongside papers dealing with the interplay of linguistics and digitalization, the programme offers various other topics, such as world Englishes research, phonology, diachronic studies, student writing, etc. Wednesday kicks off the conference with workshops: https://sites.uef.fi/isle6/program/pre-conference-workshops/.
