**Call for Papers**
The Journal for Language Technology and Computational Linguistics (JLCL, ISSN 2190-6858), the official journal of the German Society for Computational Linguistics and Language Technology (GSCL) is a scholarly peer-reviewed international scientific journal aiming at the publication of contributions on computational linguistics and natural language processing, primarily original research papers and reports.
The journal is open-access ("gold" OA) and online-only: https://jlcl.org/
*JLCL* invites previously unpublished submissions about all topics of computational linguistics and language technology.
Specific areas of interest include core technologies (tagging and parsing, machine translation, speech based systems), quantitative and data-oriented approaches, application fields (text technology and information retrieval), inter or transdisciplinary work (CL/NLP for digital humanities, information science, diachronic and comparative linguistics), as well as issues in curriculum development and teaching.
We invite submissions related to any language and particularly encourage submissions about German and its geographical and historical varieties. Authors are also encouraged to publish their data in recommended repositories.

The submissions will be reviewed by members of the executive and advisory boards of the GSCL (http://gscl.org/en/gremien) in a double-blind peer review procedure.
This non-thematic volume is scheduled to appear by the end of the year.
