This Summer School is an introductory course in corpus linguistics for students of the English language which is designed to be accessible and inspiring! You will be taught in the heart of London by world-class researchers.
Mornings consist of a ‘theory lecture’ and a ‘practical lecture’. The theory session on the first day is on English grammar, the second is on corpus linguistics methodologies and the final theory session introduces the basic principles of statistics. The

Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of concepts in English linguistics, especially grammar.
