We are delighted to announce twelve new exciting tasks for the 13th International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation (SemEval 2019).

Task 1: Cross-lingual Semantic Parsing with UCCA

Task 2: Unsupervised Lexical Semantic Frame Induction

*Opinion, emotion and abusive language detection*

Task 3: EmoContext: Contextual Emotion Detection in Text

Task 4: Hyperpartisan News Detection

Task 5: HatEval: Multilingual Detection of Hate Speech Against Immigrants and Women in Twitter

Task 6: OffensEval: Identifying and Categorizing Offensive Language in Social Media

*Fact vs fiction*

Task 7: RumourEval 2019: Determining Rumour Veracity and Support for Rumours

Task 8: Fact Checking in Community Question Answering Forums

*Information extraction and question answering*

Task 9: Suggestion Mining from Online Reviews and Forums

Task 10: Math Question Answering

*NLP for scientific applications*

Task 11: Normalization of Medical Concepts in Clinical Narrative

Task 12: Toponym Resolution in Scientific Papers

10 Jan 2019: Evaluation start 31 Jan 2019: Evaluation end 05 Feb 2019: Results posted 28 Feb 2019: System and Task description paper submissions due by 23:59 GMT -12:00 06 Apr 2019: Author notifications 20 Apr 2019: Camera ready submissions due Summer 2019: SemEval 2019

Trial data and evaluation scripts are now ready and available on the CodaLab website for each task. You can download them through the direct links, when provided, or after registering to participate in the task (“Participate” tab).
