The Digital Humanities Lab of Basel University is happy to announce two public lectures in the field of digital textual studies on 8 and 9 November. Both are open to an interested audience.

The lectures are coordinated with the First Basel Workshop on Identifying Metaphor in Discourse<http://dhlab.unibas.ch/finding-metaphor-in-discourse/> (registration closed) which is supported by ADHO-SIG “Digital Literary Stylistics”<https://dls.hypotheses.org/> as well as the International Association for <http://www.raam.org.uk/> Researching and Applying Metaphor <http://www.raam.org.uk/> and is organized in cooperation with colleagues from the universities of Stuttgart and Hamburg.
