If you'll excuse a little self-promotion, I just pushed a "nearly done" release of my textbook yesterday:
The text is based on my NLP course from Georgia Tech, and is in use in a few other places as well. It's a bit more technical than the J&M text; more in the spirit of the Manning and Schütze, but 20 years more current.
I'll send a proper announcement when it's available in print, which will hopefully happen in mid-2019.
