[Corpora-List] PhD positions in NLP at Brandeis University

The NLP group at the Computer Science Department of Brandeis University is
recruiting PhD Students to work on an NSF-supported collaborative project
entitled “Building a Uniform Meaning Representation for Natural Language
Processing”, a collaborative project between Brandeis University,
University of Colorado, and University of New Mexico, starting in the fall
2019. The project aims to develop a cross-linguistically valid meaning
representation as well as machine learning techniques to parse natural
language text into this meaning representation. Prospective students need
to have strong mathematical foundations and good programming skills, as
well as a strong interest in natural language, and ideally have prior
training in computational linguistics. The student will be under the
supervision of Prof. Nianwen Xue, in collaboration with Professors James
Pustejovksy (Brandeis), Martha Palmer (University of Colorado) and William
Croft (New Mexico University). Questions about the position should be
