As Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching and management within the School, Faculty and University, and contribute to academic leadership in an area of Computer Science.
The post will be part of the University’s “flying faculty” staff, teaching in both Leeds and China. Teaching at SWJTU, our Joint School Programme with Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China, is in short intensive blocks, which means that you will be expected to spend some of the year (typically 3 to 6 weeks in a calendar year) in Chengdu, working at the Joint School. The majority of your time will be based at the University of Leeds.
