The MASC Open American National Corpus (http://www.anc.org/data/masc/) also has a small number of files containing jokes.

not sure this is exactly the kind of text you are looking for, but the Groningen Meaning Bank contains a small subset of jokes in English: http://gmb.let.rug.nl/data.php The latest version (2.2.0) has 121 documents marked with "genre: joke", e.g.:

Old mathematicians never die; they just lose some of their functions.
