The University of Bremen/Germany is inviting applications for a two-year 0.5 position as university lecturer in English linguistics (13 TV-L on the German salary scale) in the faculty of Linguistics and Literary studies (“Fachbereich 10”), starting from April 1, 2018, and running until March 31, 2020.

Applicants have an excellent degree in English or Linguistics (MA or teacher degree) with a clearly visible profile in synchronic English linguistics, a teaching record in English linguistics, and a high level of communicative competence in English (native-like at C2-level acc. to the CEFR).They have ideally completed a PhD in Enlish linguistics. The teaching load comprises 6 hours per semester.
