Applications are invited for a fixed-term (10 month) full-time post of Teaching Associate in Computational Linguistics at the University of Cambridge.
Candidates will be educated to degree level, normally with a PhD in a relevant field and a record of research and publications in Computational Linguistics. Preference is likely to be given to candidates who have experience of giving lectures and seminars to undergraduate students and have prior experience of developing teaching material for lectures and seminars. The post is based in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages, in the city of Cambridge.
The successful candidate will be required to give lectures, seminars and practicals to undergraduate students, to contribute to the teaching of Computational Linguistics more generally, including the supervision of MPhil students. They will be expected to assist in the setting and marking of undergraduate examinations, and to undertake Departmental administrative duties as necessary.
