IALP 2016 strongly encourages the organization of Special Sessions to supplement regular programs, aiming to bring together leading researchers and engineers from around the world to present the state-of-the-art research directions. Special Session proposals should cover topics that relate to regular technical program tracks of IALP 2016, but are not limited to them. All submitted papers go through the same review process, and decisions of acceptance will be based on the special session committee and the review results. Each special session should comprise *4 papers*. At least one author of an accepted paper will be required to register for presenting their work in the IALP 2016 conference.

The following information should be included in the proposal:

• Title of the proposed special session • Names of the organizers (including brief bio, affiliation, and contact information) • An abstract that states the significance of the proposed topic and/or the rationale for the proposed session • List of invited papers (including a tentative title, the author list, and a 300-word abstract for each paper)

Special session proposals will be evaluated by the Program Committee based on the importance of the topic and its relevance to IALP, as well as the qualification of the organizer(s) and quality of the invited papers. Once the proposal has been approved, the proposed session will be registered in the conference system to accept submissions, and the special session co-chairs will assist the program chairs to arrange the review process. Important Dates:

• Submission deadline of special session proposal: *June 1*, 2016 • Notification of accepted proposals: June 15, 2016 • Submission deadline of papers on special session: July 20, 2016 • Notification of accepted papers in special sessions: August 20, 2016
