The Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen is seeking two
University Lecturers (Assistant Professors) in the area of Information
Science (60% teaching, 40% research). The candidates will contribute
to the bachelor programme in Information Science, the master
programmes Information Science and Digital Humanities. The programmes
in Groningen focus on computational linguistics, web technology and
digital humanities. We are therefore looking for experienced
researchers in this area. We are particularly interested in candidates
with expertise in one of the following directions: digital humanities,
statistical natural language processing, or human-computer communication.

Date of entry into employment: 1 August 2016 or as soon as
possible. The appointment will be for two years.  Job interviews are
scheduled for 10 June 2016. A short lecture for staff and students may
be part of the selection procedure.
