[Corpora-List] Nominations sought at Bergen

The Research Group on Language Models and Resources at the University of Bergen has been asked by the Faculty to nominate suitable candidates to a possible professorship in linguistics. We invite statements of interest from researchers who document the following:

- At least 7 years of experience since completion of PhD, at the scientific level of an ERC CoG-holder (see: http://erc.europa.eu/funding-and-grants/funding-schemes/consolidator-grants) - A track record of original and significant research achievements in the last 7-10 years - Exceptional leadership and a proven ability to obtain external funding for research projects - A research plan to develop the group and attract EU funding for innovative R&D - A commitment to move to Bergen if appointed.

The University of Bergen is a research university in Western Norway with a high international profile. It has 14500 students, including 1550 international students, and has a staff of 3500. The Research Group on Language Models and Resources has a substantial project portfolio in linguistics, including corpus and computational linguistics. It is coordinating the national language infrastructure projects CLARINO and INESS, has coordinated three Marie Curie projects, and has participated in DASISH and META-NORD. The research group has a strong profile in Lexical Functional Grammar and is participating in ParGram.
