Dear Professor,

Greetings and hope that this mail finds you in cheers.

On behalf of the Organizing committee of the 3rd International Conference on Mining Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration (MIKE 2015), we would like to invite you to submit your research paper(s) to MIKE 2015 which will be held at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad during December 9-11, 2015.

Conference website can be accessed at: http://www.mike.org.in/2015/

MIKE 2015 Call for papers are out now:

CFP (PDF version): http://www.mike.org.in/2015/cfp/mike2015-flyer.pdf CFP (Text version): http://www.mike.org.in/2015/cfp/MIKE2015-flyer.txt

Also please find the attached call for papers and kindly circulate the same among your contacts / colleagues with a request to display this notification on their notice boards. Also please encourage your students and researchers in your circle to submit their papers to MIKE 2015.

Since the inception of MIKE conference series, Springer published the proceedings in their famous Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series: You may browse through the earlier editions of MIKE proceedings that appeared in LNAI series:

MIKE 2013 - (Vol 8284 - http://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-319-03844-5) MIKE 2014 - (Vol 8891 - http://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-319-13817-6)

Springer supports MIKE 2015 this year as well in publishing the proceedings in the LNCS/LNAI series. The accepted papers will be indexed by very popular Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases like DBLP, Scopus and ArnetMiner; SCI Compendex; and others. Additionally, we are planning to bring out a special issue journal for the selected papers.

Looking forward to your active contribution to MIKE 2015 and hope to see you in IIIT Hyderabad, India during Dec 9 - 11, 2015. Thanks very much

With warm regards Anil Kumar Vuppala and Rajendra Prasath Organzing Chairs - MIKE 2015

REVIEW CRITERIA: ----------------- Each submission must be identified as either 1. theoretical research 2. applied research, or 3. a deployed application paper and will be reviewed using criteria appropriate to its category. The criteria are as follows:

Paper Category: Theoretical/Methodological research paper Review Criteria: Scientific significance; originality; technical quality; and clarity

Paper Category: Applied research paper Review Criteria: Significance for scientific research or innovative commercial deployment; originality; technical quality; and clarity

Paper Category: Deployed application paper Review Criteria: Demonstrated practical, social, environmental or economic significance; originality; treatment of issues of engineering, management & user acceptance; and clarity.

Most importantly, the review process is double-blind reviewed and hence the authors are instructed not to include anywhere in the submission, their identity, affiliation(s) or contact details. Violating this restriction will lead to disqualification of the paper from the review process.

All papers should be prepared and submitted according to the following guidelines.

DOUBLE-BLIND REVIEW: ---------------------- MIKE 2015 uses a double-blind review process for paper selection.

a) Authors should not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, and reviewers should not know the name(s) of the authors. b) Please prepare your paper in a way that preserves anonymity of the authors.

c) Do not put your name(s) under the title.

d) Avoid using phrases such as "our previous work" when referring to earlier publications by the authors.

e) Remove information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments (e.g., co-workers and grant IDs).

f) Check supplemental material (e.g., titles in the video clips, or supplementary documents) for information that may identify the authors identity.

g) Avoid providing links to websites that identify the authors.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: ---------------------- Papers must be submitted online through EasyChair system following the submission link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mike2015

PROCEEDINGS: ------------- All accepted papers will appear in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNCS/LNAI) series published by Springer and will be indexed by DBLP, Scopus and other popular indexing systems.

Additionally authors of selected best papers will be invited to submit extended versions for a number of special issue journals (for more details, please check the website).

Authors should note that the papers should be of maximum 10 A4 pages (including figures and tables) and manuscripts must be prepared with LaTex2e (llncs2e.zip).

Papers MUST be submitted in Springer LNCS format, which is the format required for the final camera ready copy. We will accept:

Long papers: with a maximum of 10 pages

Short papers: with a maximum of 6 pages

Both long and short papers will be considered for poster and oral (short or long) presentation at the conference based on the reviewing criteria above. Authors' instructions along with LaTeX (preferred) and Word macro files are available on the web at Springer's Information for LNCS Authors page (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0).

LaTeX Format: ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/llncs/latex2e/llncs2e.zip

Authors of accepted papers are required to transfer the copyright to Springer. All submissions are required to be in electronic format.

Multiple Submission Policy:

Papers submitted to other conferences or journals must state this fact. If a paper will appear in another conference or journal, it must be withdrawn from MIKE 2015. This restriction does not apply to papers appearing in proceedings of specialised MIKE workshops.

Author Registration Policy:

In order for a paper to appear in the proceedings, at least one of the authors MUST register for the conference by the camera-ready copy deadline.
