DASISH (http://dasish.eu) invites you to a workshop on the topic of trusted repositories, focusing in particular on existing standards for audit and certification and the conditions for their implementation as well as their current use in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).
During the workshop, we will introduce the audit and certification instruments comprising the European Framework for Audit and Certification of Digital Repositories (Data Seal of Approval,DIN 31644 and ISO 16363), particularly their scope and review procedures. These will be enriched with case studies and experiences from language, humanities and social sciences data services that already underwent an audit. There will be a focus on the situation in the SSH ESFRI projects and ample time will be dedicated to answering questions and discussing the state of affairs, particularly the expected benefits, encountered challenges/obstacles and ESFRI project-specific needs with regard to certification.
