A position as Associate Professor of English language is vacant at the
Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages (ILOS),

Research in English Language at ILOS is empirically based, covering both
modern and early English. The emphasis of the English language research
environoment is on corpus, contrastive, functional and applied
linguistics. Candidates who have carried out a major part of their
research within one or more of these areas will be given priority.

The person appointed will be required to teach a variety of courses from
within the following fields: English phonetics, English grammar, corpus
linguistics and language history and variation. All teaching and examining
is conducted in English.
