Dear Corpus Linguists,

Do you have large volumes of English literature, or bilingually aligned texts of literature? If so, you may be interested in learning about this opportunity to publish two novel kinds of books, one for readers who learn English as a second language, the other for children in English-speaking countries learning to read.

First, have a quick look at samples of these two kinds of books:

Samples of PIE books for literacy: https://sites.google.com/site/phoneticallyintuitiveenglish/publishing-pie-books/pie-books-for-literacy

Samples of PIE books for ESL: https://sites.google.com/site/phoneticallyintuitiveenglish/publishing-pie-books/pie-books-for-esl

Then, learn more about the free software program behind this. There are two slightly different introductions to it; choose the one of more interest to you:

An introduction to PIE for literacy professionals: https://sites.google.com/site/phoneticallyintuitiveenglish/project-news/novelsoftwaretoteachliteracy

An introduction to PIE for ESL professionals: https://sites.google.com/site/phoneticallyintuitiveenglish/project-news/freeandinnovativesoftwaretoteacheslreceivespositivefeedback
