FIRST CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS ---------------------------------

TALN'2013 20th Conference on Natural Language Processing Atlantes Congress Center in Sables D'Olonne, France, June 17-21

Organized by the NLP team of the LINA (Nantes-Atlantic Computer Science Laboratory) and the LST team of the LIUM (Computer Science Laboratory of the University of Maine), the 20th Conference on Natural Language Processing (TALN) will take place from 17th till the 21st June 2013 at the Atlantes Congress Center, Sables D'Olonne, France. TALN'2013 is organised under the aegis of ATALA (Association pour le Traitement Automatique des Langues) and will be held jointly with the RECITAL'2013, the conference for young researchers.

OBJECTIVES ---------- A workshop focuses on a particular topic in NLP in order to gather presentations for a targeted audience. It has its own president and program committee. Workshop presidents are responsible for the call of papers and for the coordination of the program committee. TALN'2013 organizers will take care of the logistics (rooms, coffee breaks and publications). Workshops will be held in parallel on a day or half-day (2 to 4 sessions of 1h30).

SUBMISSION INFORMATION ---------------------- Proposals for workshops should be sent electronically to emmanuel.morin at univ-nantes.fr and yannick.esteve at lium.univ-lemans.fr.

Workshop proposals sould include a brief description (1 page) of the theme of the conference along with its committee program and desired duration. Proposals will be selected by the TALN'2013 program comittee.

FORMAT ------ Conferences will be held in French (or English for non-French-speaking persons). Paper submissions may consist of up to 14 pages and must conform to the official TALN'2013 style guidelines.
