I understand from one of my graduate students who recently completed a research project (Effectiveness of Mass Notification Text Messages) that you could request a corpus of SMS text messages from:  ¨  New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit)  http://www.njtransit.com/tm/tm_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=PressReleaseTo&PRESS_RELEASE_ID=2269¨  Washington Metropolitan Area TransitAuthority (WMATA)   http://www.wmata.com/rider_tools/ealerts/¨  DC Homeland Security and EmergencyManagement Agency (DCEMA).  ¨  http://dcema.dc.gov/dcema/cwp/view,a,3,q,531996,dcemaNav_GID,1531,dcemaNav,|31868|,.aspHowever, there is no bidirectionality.Susana:
