********************************************************************* CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

NAACL-HLT 2010 First Workshop on Statistical Parsing of Morphology-Rich Languages (SPMRL2010)

<http://sites.google.com/site/spmrl2010/>

Workshop date: June 5, 2010 Location: Millenium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Early registration through May 9, 2010 Late registration through May 23, 2010

********************************************************************* The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers interested

in parsing languages with richer morphological structures than in English, and to provide a forum for discussing the challenges associated with parsing such languages and sharing strategies towards their solutions.

We are interested in presentations relating to actively studied areas of research including the adaptation of existing parsing techniques to new languages, the design of new models that take morphological information into account, the implementation of models that allow robust statistics

to be obtained in the face of high word-form variation, and so on.

You are cordially invited to attend the talks and to participate in the discussion.

Registration is now open! Early registration is through May 9, 2010, late registration is through May 23, 2010. Please register via the NAACL-HLT 2010 registration form:

<http://aclweb.org/membership/naaclhlt2010reg.php>

You can either register for the main conference plus SPMRL2010, or, if you only want to participate in the workshop, you may register for SPMRL2010 only. The NAACL-HLT 2010 registration form has all information about registration deadlines and fees.
