Topptur-Weekend i Raundalen \\\\\\\ English description below \\\\\\\ Dato: 23. - 25. februar Vanskelighetsgrad: 2/3 støvler og bratt tereng Turledere: Ola Thorstensen, Maike van den Berg Krav til deltakere: Noe tidligere rando-erfaring er nødvendig. Skredkurs er ikke et krav, da vi vil unngå terreng brattere enn 30^o grader. Deltakeren må være komfortabel med å ferdes i vinterterreng og være i stand til å gå en lengere distanse på ski. Turbeskrivelse: Denne helgen reiser vi til Raundalen, øst for Voss. Vi har leid en koselig Airbnb som vil fungere som basen vår. Hytten ligger i gangavstand fra togstoppet Øyeflaten. Planen for helgen er å reise fra Bergen med tog fredags ettermiddag. Første kvelden vil bli brukt til å planlegge de kommende dagene og spise en felles middag. På lørdag vil å gå en lengere dagstur til en av toppene i nærområdet, omtrent 10 km i lengde og 1000 m med elevasjon. Vel tilbake på hytten lager vi en felles middag og bruker kvelden på å bli klar til neste dag. Søndagen bruker vi til å vaske oss ut og gå en kortere dagstur, før vi hopper på toget tilbake til Bergen kl 16:32. Overnatting: To overnattinger på Airbnb hytte. Mat: Felles middag fredag og lørdag. Deltakeren må ta med egen frokost, lunch og snacks for resten av turen. Pris: Opphold og felles mat koster 750 kr for hele helgen. Togbilletter tur-retur kommer i tillegg og må kjøpes av deltakeren. En slik studentbillett koster ca 500kr. Avalanche course is not required, as we will avoid terrain steeper than 30^o degrees. The participant should be comfortable in winter terrain and be able to walker longer distances on skis. Trip description: This weekend we go on a trip to Raundalen, east of Voss. We have rented a cosy Airbnb cabin which will serve as our base camp. The cabin is located within walking distance of Øyeflaten train station. We depart from Bergen Friday afternoon. Then, the evening will be spent planning for the coming days and cooking a communal dinner. On Saturday we will go for a longer day trip to one of the nearby peaks. This day we will walk about 10 km and 1000 m of elevation on skis. We will enjoy the evening at the cabin with another shared meal and plan our Sunday-trip together. On Sunday we will clean up the place and head out for our shorter trip before catching the 16:32 train back to Bergen. Pre-trip meeting: Mandatory meeting (!). We gather at Studentsenteret 17:30 at Wednesday 21^th of February, next to the cafeteria. Transport: Train from Bergen station to Øyeflaten. Accommodation: Two nights at an AirBnb cabin in Øyeflaten. Food: Communal dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday. The participant must bring their own lunch, breakfast, and snacks for the trip. Price: For food and the cabin accommodation the fee is 750 kr for the whole weekend. In addition, train tickets must be paid by the individual participant. A return ticket for students is about 500 kr. Packing list: Everyone is required to bring the necessary ski and safety equipment (listed below). This can be rented from BSI friluft.
