Du vil ogsÃ¥ lære om skikompis-mønsteret for risikoreduserende adferd i skredterreng. Det er foreløpig ubestemt hvor vi skal basere oss denne helga. Alle medlemmer i BSI Friluft er velkomne til Ã¥ delta! Om du tenker Ã¥ være turleder for BSI Friluft dette vÃ¥rsemester, vil du fÃ¥ 1000kr av kursavgiften refundert dersom du arrangerer 2 skiturer. Plan for helga Fredag: Avreise fra Bergen i ettermiddagstid. Om kvelden spiser vi middag sammen før vi gjennomgÃ¥r kursplanen og grunnleggende skredlære. Lørdag: Ut pÃ¥ tur med innlagte læringsmomenter. Vi bruker skredkortene aktivt og jobber med metoder for underveisvurderinger og trygge veivalg. Vi tar oss tid til en skikkelig økt med trening pÃ¥ søk etter skredtatte, utgraving og førstehjelp. Om kvelden koser vi oss med god mat, oppsummerer dagen, og planlegger turen neste dag.  Søndag: Ut pÃ¥ tur med innlagte læringsmomenter. Vi jobber spesielt med hÃ¥ndtering av skredproblem, terrengvurdering og mønstre for ferdsel i skredterreng. Det legges opp til at deltakerne selv diskuterer og tar beslutninger underveis. Vi oppsummerer dagen og kurset før vi returnerer til Bergen. Krav til forkunnskap Du mÃ¥ ha erfaring fra skiturer i høyfjellet vinterstid, utenfor merkede løyper og i dÃ¥rlig vær. Du mÃ¥ kunne kle deg for skiturer i høyfjellet vinterstid og kunne ta deg fram pÃ¥ ski under vekslende vær- og snøforhold med sekk pÃ¥ ryggen, bÃ¥de oppover og nedover. Nødvendig utstyr - Solid skiutstyr med stÃ¥lkanter og lange feller (toppturski) - Skredutstyr (spade, sender/mottaker, søkestang) - Snøbriller (goggles) - Vind- og vanntett skallbekledning med hette - Dunjakke/varmejakke - Vindvotter med varme innervotter - Lue - Balaklava/ansiktsmaske - To fulle sett med ullundertøy og ullsokker - Dagstursekk (ca. 30 liter) - Drikkeflaske og eventuelt termos - Hodelykt med ekstra batterier - Kartmappe, kompass og skrivesaker. It will be a course in trip planning, safe route choice and rescue. You will practise recognising avalanche terrain and signs of danger. You will also learn about âskikompis-mønsteretâ for behaviour that reduces the risk in avalanche terrain. It is as of yet undecided where we will base ourselves for the weekend. All BSI Friluft members are welcome to join! Please read more about other requirements below. If you arrange a minimum of two ski trips for BSI Friluft during the 2024 spring semester you will get 1000kr of the course fee refunded. Plan for the weekend Friday: Weâll depart Bergen in the afternoon. In the evening weâll eat dinner before we gather to go through the course plan and fundamental avalanche knowledge. Saturday: We will go on a trip focusing on learning about different aspects of avalanche. We will use our avalanche cards actively and work on methods for evaluation during a trip and safe route choices. We will make time for a proper session with training on search for people taken by avalanche, digging and first aid. In the evening we will enjoy good company, food, summarise the day and plan the trip for Sunday. Sunday: We will go on a trip focusing on learning about different aspects of avalanche. We will focus particularly on avalanche problems, assessing the terrain and patterns for moving in avalanche terrain. The participants shall discuss and make decisions during the trip. We will summarise the day and course before we return to Bergen.  Required prerequisite knowledge and experience You must have experience from previous ski trips in high mountain terrain during winter, outside marked paths and in poor weather. You must be able to dress for ski trips in high mountain terrain during winter and be able to walk with skis during changing weather- and snow conditions with a backpack both uphill and downhill. Necessary equipment - Solid skis with steel edges and long skins (rando or telemark) - Avalanche equipment (shovel, beacon and probe) - Snow goggles - Wind- and waterproof jacket with hood and pants - Down/warm jacket - Wind proof gloves and warm inner gloves - Hat - Balaclava/face mask - Two full sets of wool underwear and wool socks - Backpack (ca. 30 litres) - Water bottle and thermos flask (if desired) - Headlamp and extra batteries - Map case, compass and writing materials. Costs Accommodation: Probably around 300-500kr (depending on where we go) Food: Probably around 200kr Course fee: 2459 NOK ** Transport: Probably around 500kr (depending on where we go)  **The course fee covers 20 hours of course instruction by two NF-certified avalanche instructors, their preparation, all necessary course materials, including renting shovel, avalanche beacon and avalanche probe if necessary. If you lead 2 or more ski trips during the spring semester in 2024 then you can get 1000kr of the course fee refunded. .
