Costs (student prices):

+ 116 kr train from Bergen to Bulken + 150 kr taxi from Bulken to Hodnaberg (rough estimate) + 2 * 165 kr cabins (Kiellandbu & Breidablik with DNT membership) + 43 kr bus back to Bergen (Zone F to A) + 80 kr food (rough estimate) ————————————————————————————— = 719 kr

Friday: We will take the train from Bergen to Bulken (departure 15:16). We will share a taxi up to Hodnaberg where we start our run at around 17:00. The route to the DNT cabin Kiellandbu is only 6 km with around 400 meters of elevation gain. We will make dinner together and spend the night there. There is no food storage at the cabin, so we will have to carry all our food!

Note: We already booked this cabin beforehand, because it is very popular!

Saturday: The next day, we will eat some breakfast and then run down the valley to Botnen and up again to the DNT cabin Breidablik. We will cover about 16 km with 1200 meters of elevation gain. There is a food storage at the cabin, so we might buy food there to save some weight.

Sunday: On Sunday, we will eat breakfast at the cabin. After that, we will run 12 km with 60 meters of elevation gain (mostly downhill) to Øystese, where we can buy something for lunch. We will take the bus back to Bergen in the afternoon.

There will be a mandatory planning meeting (ferdaråd) at 17:30 on Wednesday October 9th by the café on the first floor of Realfagbygget.

Mandatory equipment:

* Running shoes (preferably trail running shoes)

* Backpack suitable for running (10-15 liters)

* Headlight

* Water bottle or soft flask

* Nutrition: energy / muesli bars, bananas etc.

* Proper clothing: rain jacket, layered clothing, gloves,

* Sleeping bag liner
