HEI HEI HEI Skiers!
Are you ready for this year’s rendition of Ski Festival? Following last year’s success (take a look for yourself: shorturl.at/JLPQ8 ), this year we’re headed towards Stranda. This is a joint event between NTNUI’s Ski og Fjellsport and BSI Friluft.
The event will be held from Thursday afternoon when we arrive the 16th of March until the 19th around noon when we’ll begin our journey home. We’ll be staying at Grendahuset, beautifully located in Stranda. It has all the typical facilities, WC, showers, large kitchen, electricity. Did we mention swimming pool and sauna? No beds, but you are a rugged bunch anyways.
The Ski Festival will have an avalanche seminar (probably thursday), swimming pool and sauna open Friday evening, and we’ll throw a party Saturday evening in one of larger halls in the building. During the days on Friday and Saturday there will be trips, either alpine touring (randonee) or go to Stranda Skisenter, or possibly fjellski depending on the gauged interest of the group.
