Description:
Friday:
We will drive to Sogndal Friday early afternoon (the exact time will be discussed at the Ferdaråd). The drive is approx 4 hours to Uteplassen Camping, where we will camp for the weekend. We will eat dinner and get to know each other for the rest of the day.
Saturday:
We will climb at Kvam, which is a 20-minute drive from the camp. There are routes from 3-8c, so there is something for everybody! In the evening we will make dinner and you can go swimming if you want. The camp is right by the water and there is a “stamp” (outdoor hot tub)!
Sunday:
We will climb on Sunday too, before driving back to Bergen in the afternoon/evening.
Brattkort is mandatory for all participants. You can take the test with Bergen Klatreklubb or Tuesday climbing with BSI.
Ferdaråd (MANDATORY meeting):
At Tuesday climbing on 2nd May we will have a mandatory trip meeting, where we will discuss the details of the trip. Especially what we need to rent and when we want to leave on Friday.
The meeting will be at 18:00 at Lehmkuhlhallen (or outside if the weather allows it) - more information about this on Monday.

Water/windproof jacket and pants (ex gore-tex)
Mid-layers (wool/fleece)
Warm jacket/sweater for the evenings
Hat, mittens, etc
Clothes to climb in
Tent
Sleeping bag
Sleeping mat
Headlamp
Sunglasses/caps and sunscreen
Swimsuit and towel
(Powerbank)

Primus/gas burner (and gas)
Climbing:

We need 4 ropes, 4 sets of quickdraws, 4 slings, and 4 belay devices. Also, most camping equipment can be rented from BSI (we can discuss this at the Ferdaråd)
Food:
Bring your own breakfast, lunch, and snacks
We can have shared dinners, otherwise, bring your own. Write up any allergies or preferences (vegan/vegetarian) in the registration.
Costs:
The trip is free, but we will share the costs of transportation and camp. We can have shared dinners, but this will be discussed at the Ferdaråd. Approximate cost without food is 600kr per person if we don’t have to rent cars.
