Desciption: This will be a mountaineering tour to Jotunheimen. We will drive ca 6h to Leirdalen Friday around 16:00 and set up camp next to the road. Saturday well get up early and hike towards Bjørnbreen, where we will rope up and navigate through the crevasse labyrinth towards the mountains main ridge and scramble towards the top with a nice view (pray to the weather gods!) of Jotunheimen. Depending on our timing we’ll take the same way down or include some more tops. It will be a long day with ca 12h of hiking and scrambling, 1000 height meters and ca 15 km distance in ca -1 to 5 degree Celsius, we have to dress warm but light and keep a good pace. Depending on the mood and weather on Sunday we’ll do a smaller trip in the area before driving back to Bergen.
