kfNgram, my free Windows software, is a very quick n-gram generator: http://kwicfinder.com/kfNgram/kfNgramHelp.html
Let me know if you have any problems with it.

PS You can compare your texts with "POS-grams" from the BNC http://pie.usna.edu/explorepg.html Use this proxy if you cannot access PIE directly http://phrasesinenglish.org/explorepg.html (requires Internet Explorer)

Dear all,
Can anyone give me any tips about how best to extract POS n-grams from a corpus? I have removed the words from a tagged corpus and am now using the cluster function in WordSmith to make n-grams of the POS tags. Is there a better way?
Thanks! Tom
